Good evening chaps! Tonight was a great night of boxing here in merry old England as the WCBF came to town. In the openning bout, light heavyweight Otis Griffin scored a unanimous decision over Shannon Miller.  The second fight of the night saw another pair of light heavyweights square off as Hugo Garay defeated Kai Kurzawa by a unanimous decision.

 

The third fight of the night involved the lightweights as James Crayton went to the limit and snatched a unanimous decision over Stefano Zoff. Match number four saw fireworks as the featherweights lit it up. Hector Marquez scored a TKO at 0:06 in the 5th round over his oponent, Jorge Linares. Marquez sent Linares to the mat at 0:48 in the 3rd round for a manditory 8 count. At 0:1:19 in the same round, Marquez landed a shot which opened up a very nasty cut over Linares eye. After the fight doctor checked it, the fight continued to the 5th, when another shot worsened the cut over Linares eye, at which point the doctor called the fight.

 

The 5th match saw the welterweights in actiion as Ramon Campas scored a unanimous decision over Thomas Damgaard, and the main event saw lightweight Fernando Angulo score a unanimous decisiion over Juan Diaz. Tune in Tuesday night for Tuesday Night Thunder.
